For one brief fall season, we are opening our private portrait garden to 40 established Davy Knapp families.
We take care of the details so you can focus on the people.
Once your Garden Collection date is reserved, our team guides you from planning through portrait day. You do not have to know what everyone should wear, how to pose, or how to make the session come together. That is what we are here for.
The garden is beautiful. But the garden is not the real reason to do this.
The reason is that your family will never again be exactly who they are right now. Children grow into new faces. Seniors leave home. Grandparents age. Relationships deepen. Ordinary life changes so gradually that we often do not notice a chapter has ended until we are already looking back at it.
Life is full—and the portrait keeps getting postponed.
You have good intentions, busy calendars and thousands of phone pictures. There is always a reason to wait until life is less hectic.
Then something makes time visible.
Your son suddenly looks grown. Your daughter is talking about college. The grandchildren are changing. Everyone will finally be together. You realize this season has an expiration date.

That is our job. Once your session is reserved, we guide the decisions that usually make family portraits stressful.
We talk through the people, relationships, timing and what you want this portrait to mean.
Choose from three fall looks that we know photograph beautifully in the garden.
If you want reassurance, lay the outfits together, send us one photo and our team will review them.
We handle posing, expression and grouping so you are not expected to know what to do.
Private access
The Garden Collection is available only to past Davy Knapp clients who have previously commissioned a 20-inch portrait or larger.
If you are unsure whether your family qualifies, request an invitation anyway. Our booking team will verify your client history when we call.
There is no charge to request an invitation. If you qualify and choose a remaining date, $149 secures the appointment.
A private garden with room for more than one kind of portrait.
Stone, ironwork, mature trees, soft grass and layered fall texture give us several settings for family, children’s, couples and multi-generational portraits during the same experience.

I already have a Davy Knapp wall portrait. Why would I do another session?
Because the Garden Collection is not intended to replace the portrait you already love. Your existing portrait preserves who your family was then. The Garden Collection preserves who your family has become since—and gives you a different, outdoor chapter of the same family story.
What is included in the Garden Collection experience?
Your experience includes a portrait planning call, access to our private wardrobe-planning tool, optional outfit review, 25 custom Christmas cards, and a $1,000 portrait credit. If the credit is not used, one 11×14 Fine Art Portrait is included instead.
What happens after I request an invitation?
Our booking team will verify your past-client eligibility, answer your questions and help you choose from the remaining Garden Collection dates. If you choose a date, your $149 reservation secures the appointment.
What if I don’t know what everyone should wear?
That is built into the experience. Booked families receive a planning call and private wardrobe-planning portal with three recommended fall looks, shopping guidance and optional outfit review.
What if I’m not sure whether my past portrait was 20 inches or larger?
Request an invitation. Our team can check your client history when we call.
When does the Garden Collection close?
The final portrait date is October 20, 2026. The collection closes earlier if all 40 appointments are reserved.
